History

In 2008 the Finnish company Tecnomen acquired Indian company Lifetree for $46 million. Initially it was rebranded as Tecnomen Lifetree before being rebranded once more in 2010 as Tecnotree.

Tecnomen itself was founded in 1978 and was headquartered in Espoo, Finland,[2] where Tecnotree's headquarters are also based.

Tecnotree has offices in Finland, France, South Africa, India, Malaysia, Argentina, Ecuador and Peru. In 2019 it opened a new customer experience centre in Dubai.[3]

Products

Tecnotree's Digital BSS Suite comprises products for customer lifecycle management, lead & prospect management, loyalty management, partner relationship management, catalog management, order and subscription management, as well as billing.[4]

In 2019 it announced 'Surge':

  • Digital Microservices Accelerator - uses open APIs to wrap existing legacy services. This enables the creation of new APIs on top with microservices orchestration and exposing & monetizing those metered APIs through an API Gateway
  • Digital Experience Accelerator - includes Customer 360 and Omnichannel Enablers, which helps CSPs develop an omnichannel customer experience connecting to legacy platforms, as well as delivering new self-care capabilities
  • Digital Revenue Accelerator - includes Digital Partner Relationship Manager, which enables CSPs to onboard new partners, aggregate, bundle and sell partner offerings as well as manage complex multi-party settlements[5]
