Techtro Swades United FC

Techtro Swades United Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Una, Himachal Pradesh. The club competes in the Himachal Football League. The club was established[1][2][3] on 29 August 2020 and are set to begin their first competitive season in the Himachal Football League.

History

The club was founded by Neeraj Kholiya,[4][5] who is a football enthusiast. He started his journey by creating a YouTube channel in 2014, where he reviewed tech products. Later, he found out that there are no channels creating content for Indian Football and hence decided to do it by himself. He later formed Techtro FC in 2019 which competed in Lucknow District Football League.

On 12th November, they appointed former Minerva Punjab head coach Surinder Singh as their technical director and on 14 November 2020, former I-League head coach of Punjab FC was appointed as the first ever head coach of Techtro Swades United. [6]

They finished as runners-up in the first-ever edition of Himachal Football League after losing 2-0 to Himachal FC Khad in the final match.
