Technetium(IV) bromide
Technetium(IV) bromide[1] is a compound that is a salt of the radioactive element technetium. It is a dark-colored crystal with the symbol TcBr4. Its crystal structure is similar to those of platinum(IV) bromide and osmium(IV) bromide and it is moderately soluble in water. It is not used in anything except research because of its radioactivity.

Prepearation
Technetium tetrabromide can be produced in a composition reaction. The first way is reacting Technetium metal with elemental bromine but under a vacuum or in argon. Leave the reaction for 4 hours and evaporate to dryness. This reaction is exothermic. Under is the equation.
