Commercial performance
The album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. The album's two singles, "I Don't Wanna Play House" and "Take Me to Your World" were released on July 28 and December 8, 1967, respectively, and both reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Singles chart, becoming Wynette's second and third songs to top the chart, following her duet with David Houston, "My Elusive Dreams", from their album of the same name.
