The wingspan is 13–14 mm. The forewings are fuscous, with the stigmata rather large and dark fuscous, the plical obliquely before the first discal. There is a straight slightly inwards-oblique fascia from the costa at three-fourths, sometimes interrupted in the middle, slightly enlarged on the costa and preceded by some slight dark fuscous sprinkles, apical area beyond this wholly dark fuscous. The hindwings are blue grey.[3]
