Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi

Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi is a Lahore based Jurist and Judge of Lahore High Court,[1] born on 22 April 1966 at Layyah, Pakistan. After schooling, he graduated from Government College University, Lahore and earned law degree LL.B. from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. Rizvi elected Member Punjab Bar Council in 2004 and as president, High Court Bar Association Multan in 2013.[2]

Biography and career

Rizvi born and grew up in Pakistan and completed his graduation from Government College University, Lahore to subscribe as member of Old Ravian Union. He did Law from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan to entered in legal profession as an Advocate in 1993 and enrolled as an Advocate of Lahore High Court in 1995 and of Supreme Court of Pakistan in 2010 and soon become popular and dominated in the Bar politics. He elected Secretary District Bar Association Layyah in 1996 and member Punjab Bar Council in 2004. Before elevation to the Bench he elected President High Court Bar Association Multan in 2013.[3]

Appointment as Justice

As a busy lawyer he contributed and demonstrated a significant role in the judiciary and society.[4] The President of Pakistan appointed him as Judge of Lahore High Court,[5] Lahore on 22 March 2014 and he took the oath of his office as a Judge of Lahore High Court along with his fellow judges.[6][7]
