Sydney Baldwin

Sydney Baldwin is an American ice hockey defender, who last played for the Minnesota Whitecaps in the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL).

Career

In 2014, Baldwin was awarded the Minnesota Ms. Hockey Award.[1]

Across 151 games with the University of Minnesota, Baldwin put up 81 points.[2][3] In 2018, she was named a finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award.[4][5]

After graduating, she signed with EHV Sabres Wien of the European Women's Hockey League.[6] Putting up 19 points in 10 games, she would be named to the EWHL All-Star Team.[7][8]

On the 3rd of September 2019, Baldwin signed with the Minnesota Whitecaps of the NWHL.[9] After scoring 18 points in 17 games in her rookie season, she was named to the 2020 NWHL All-Star Game, but couldn't participate.[10]

International

Baldwin represented the US at the IIHF U18 Women's World Championships in 2013 and 2014, winning a silver medal both times.[11] In 2014, she served as one of the team's assistant captains.
