Svetlana Sorokina

Svetlana Innokentyevna Sorokina (Russian: Светла́на Инноке́нтьевна Соро́кина; née Sarykova; born January 15, 1957, Pushkin) is a Russian journalist, member of the Russian Television Academy, a former member of the Human Rights Council under the President of the Russian Federation (2009-2011), teacher National Research University – Higher School of Economics.

Career

In 1987, it included in the staff of the Leningrad television in 1988-1990 leading the program 600 seconds.[1][2]

She worked at the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company,[3] NTV, TV-6, Channel One Russia[4] and other.

Since September 2005 leads to the radio Echo of Moscow Saturday the author's program The Sveta's Circle.[5] Since 2015 - a talk show Sorokina on channel Dozhd.

Personal life
  • Single (she has had two marriages, surname - from her first marriage, mother's maiden name - Sarykova; her second husband was a television operator Vladimir Grechishkin).[6]
  • In July 2003, she became the foster mother of daughter Tonya.[7]
