Super Week
''''Superweek' refers to the International Cycling Series / SUPERWEEK PRO TOUR bicycle races which were held primarily in Wisconsin and sometimes in Illinois during the month of July. It was among the largest events in the world. In 2008 SUPERWEEK celebrated its 40th year, with over 7,000 entries over 17 days of racing. SUPERWEEK traditionally ended on the last day of the Tour de France.
Many teams, both domestic and international, sent representatives to the series on a regular basis; such examples include Colavita-Sutter Homes, Toyota-United, Team Mack, Team Milram, Jelly Belly, Columbian National Team, Rock Racing, Hong Kong Cycling Team, and many more.
One of the most prolific riders to have never won the event, Michael Zaug, still competes at the masters level in the United States.
2012 was the final year of the famed Superweek Cycling Series.
