Rivers and lakes

About Some Ten years back, while digging the Kovaneri Lake, a Big Lingam was found. Sundarapandiam is located at river bed of Arjuna. Many small lakes are located around this place, namely, Senkulum, Periyakulam, and Karisalkulam. The main source of drinking water is taken underground. The famous Sadhuragiri hills / temple is very near to this village.
