Career

Harness came up on drug-related charges and went to jail in 2011.[1] In 2013 he appeared on Yelawolf's mixtape Wyte Dawg and released his nine-track album I Am Struggle. After being released from prison in 2016, Harness dropped Return of the Outlaw EP via Slumerican.[1] From 2017 to 2018, he collaborated with rapper JellyRoll on the trilogy of Waylon & Willie albums, the title of which pays homage to Waylon Jennings/Willie Nelson's Waylon & Willie and WWII. Struggle and Jenni Eddy Jennings released Spiritual Warfare EP to the end of 2018. In the beginning of 2019, Struggle with his daughter Brianna Harness released collaborative EP entitled Sunny Days, which peaked at #3 on the Billboard Blues Albums. One month later, Struggle released a solo studio album via Angels & Outlaws, called The Widow's Son, with guest appearances including Bubba Sparxxx, Jeremy Penick, Julie Roberts and Yelawolf. On November 15th, 2019 Jennings released Angels & Outlaws which features 11 tracks by himself, guitarist Trap DeVille and his oldest daughter and newcomer Brianna Harness. The album peaked at #8 on iTunes Alternative charts.
