Production
Strongest Deliveryman is produced by Jidam Inc. for KBS. Jidam is the same company behind Jang Bo-ri is Here!, My Daughter, Geum Sa-wol and Mrs. Cop 2 as well as the KBS daily dramas Ruby Ring and Two Mothers.[6]
Yoon Shi-yoon was offered to portray the drama's titular lead role, but declined because he first received the offer for a lead role in its preceding drama Hit the Top.[6]
Originally, Jang Mi-kwan and Lee Yeol-eum were set to play the second lead characters, Oh Jin-gyu and Lee Ji-yoon, but there has since been a change in line-up and the roles have been given to Kim Seon-ho and Ko Won-hee. The chief producer of Strongest Deliveryman explained that the reason as to why Jang Mi-kwan left the cast was due to a few disagreements while working out some details.[7][8]
