Stig Lundholm

Stig Lundholm (14 November 1917 in Luleå, Sweden – 19 May 2009[1]) was a Swedish chess master.

He won at Stockholm 1942, tied with Folke Ekström, ahead of both Gösta Stoltz and Erik Lundin,[2] took second place behind Ekström at Stockholm 1943/44,[3] and won at Lidköping 1944 (Swedish Chess Championship) ahead of Paul Keres.[4] He was Swedish Correspondence Champion in 1948, and was awarded the IMC title in 1983.[5]
