The wingspan is 9-9.7 mm. The forewing colour pattern is very close to that of Stegasta jejuensis, but can be distinguished by the shape of the whitish-orange area beyond the basal fascia along the dorsum and the larger second costal spot which is more distinct than that of S. jejuensis.[3]
