Sri Jagannath Medical College and Hospital
Sri Jagannath Medical College and Hospital is a full-fledged tertiary Government medical college in Puri, Odisha. The college imparts the degree Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). It is recognised by the Medical Council of India.[1][2] Selection to the college is done on the basis of merit through the National Eligibility and Entrance Test. Yearly undergraduate student intake is 100.

History
The Government of Odisha approved the proposal of the establishment of Medical college at Puri and it was named as Sri Jagannath Medical College.[1] But the medical college establishment got delayed and missed the 2019 deadline. [3] The college has got permission from the National Medical Commission and is all set to admit 100 undergraduates from academic year 2021-22.
