Skylines (film)
Skylines (also known as Skyline 3 and stylized as SKYLIN3S[2][3]) is a 2020 American science fiction action film written and directed by Liam O'Donnell. It is a sequel to Beyond Skyline (2017) and the final entry in the Skyline trilogy.

The film premiered at the London FrightFest Film Festival on October 25, 2020,[4] and was released on December 18, 2020, in the United States in theaters and on Apple TV by Vertical Entertainment.[5]
Plot
Picking up where the second film left off, where Captain Rose Corley leads the Earth Defense fleet against the invaders nearby the moon, who are planning to destroy Earth by using the "Armada", a superweapon capable of eradicate any life on a planet. Rose's ship destroys two motherships, but Armada fires two of the ships of human fleet. Rose's ship destroys Armada, but at the cost of the human fleet.
Five years later, Rose, now living as an outsider, goes to London, which was ruined by ship wreckages. She visits Doctor Mal, who is trying to find a cure to a bug which is turning the human-brain implanted alien drones, who are called Pilots, into their former hostile selves.

Box office
The film opened theatrically in Vietnam on December 11, and grossed $49,978 from 960 theaters in its opening weekend, ranking fifth with an average of $52 per theater.[6] The film was pulled from 915 theaters in its sophomore weekend, ranking eighth with $972 and a decrease of 98.1%.[7]
Critical response
Rotten Tomatoes gives the film a 52% approval rating based on 25 reviews, with an average rating of 5.4/10.[1] On Metacritic, the film has a weighted average score of 46 out of 100, based on 4 critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews".[8]
