Simon Shelton
Simon Shelton (13 January 1966 – 17 January 2018), also known as Simon Barnes, was an English actor best known for playing Dark Knight in the Incredible Games, and Tinky Winky in the BBC children's show Teletubbies (replacing Dave Thompson) from 1997 to 2001.

Early life
Shelton was born on 13 January 1966 in Bethnal Green, London.
Career
Shelton played Dark Knight in Incredible Games from 1994 to 1995. He also played Tinky Winky in the BBC children's show Teletubbies.[1]
Personal life
Shelton had three children, and lived in Ampthill, Bedfordshire.[1] He was the uncle of The Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack.[1]
Death
On 17 January 2018, four days after his 52nd birthday, at 7:30 A.M. Simon was found frozen to death at the Port of Liverpool Waterfront Building in a well between the building and street.[2] He had a high concentration of alcohol in his system.[3] Shelton had a history of alcohol dependency.[4]
