Rimi is the incumbent Member of Parliament from Gazipur-4 (Kapasia).[2]

Personal life

Rimi is the daughter of Tajuddin Ahmad, the first Prime Minister of Bangladesh and Syeda Zohra Tajuddin, a former Member of Parliament. She has two sisters, Mahjabin Ahmad Mimi and Sharmin Ahmad Reepi, and a brother, Sohel Taj.[3][4]
