Shoaib Iqbal
Shoaib Iqbal is an Indian politician and a member of Delhi Legislative Assembly.[2] He is 6 times MLA from Matia Mahal.

During his college days he was active in student politics and was Secretary at the Zakir Hussain Students' Union.
Shoaib Iqbal contested his first election in 1993 on Janta Dal ticket. He later joined JD(U) and headed Minority Morcha of the Party. He subsequently went on to win from Matia Mahal for five terms in Delhi 1993,1998, 2003, 2008, 2013 Delhi Legislative Assembly elections. He also served as Deputy Speaker of Vidhan Sabha from 2003 to 2008. He was finally defeated by Aasim Ahmed Khan of AAP in 2014 Assembly Elections. He joined Congress Party only to quit it before 2020 Assembly elections.
He has joined the ruling Aam Aadmi Party in 2020, right before 2020 Delhi General elections. He is AAP candidate from Matia Mahal Assembly constituency.
