School organisation
Houses
The student body is divided into four houses, represented by colours. Each student is allotted to one of these houses upon entry into school. The four houses are named after figures in the history of India:
- Tagore (red)
- Patel (navy blue)
- Gandhi (green)
- Nehru (sky blue)
The houses compete against each other in academic and sporting disciplines, each contributing towards house points. The house with maximum points is declared the House Of The Year.
Prefects
Prefects are appointed by the principal after consultation with the House Masters. Prefects are given authority and privileges. The Prefects are led by the Captain of School, the four House Captains and the four House vice captains. Special ties and blazer crests are worn to distinguish prefects from the rest of the students.
