Shane Conway

Shane Conway (born 1998) is an Irish hurler who plays as a full-forward for the Kerry senior team.[1]

Born in Lixnaw, County Kerry, Conway first played competitive hurling at Causeway Comprehensive School. He simultaneously came to prominence at juvenile and underage levels with the Lixnaw club before joining the club's senior team.

Underage

Conway made his debut on the inter-county scene as a member of the Kerry minor team in 2015. He enjoyed two championship seasons in this grade, culminating with the winning of back-to-back All-Ireland medals.

He subsequently joined the Kerry under-21 hurling team, winning an All-Ireland medal in 2017 as Kerry overcame Wicklow in the final. He was later named All-Ireland Under-21 B Hurler of the Year. In 2018 he won a second title as Kerry overcame Derry in the final.

Senior

Conway made his senior debut during pre-season the 2018 Munster League.
