Sew le sew
Sew le sew (Amharic: ሰው ለሰው) is an Ethiopian television drama series produced by Bisrat Gemechu, Mesfin Getachew, Daniel Haile and Solomon Alemu, and written by Tamiru Birhanu, Mesfin Getachew, Nebiyu Tekalegn, and Solomon Alemu Feleke. It originally aired on 16 March 2011 on EBC, formerly ETV.[1][2] The series first season final part was premiered on 23 July 2014.[3]

Synopsis
The drama shows group of upper-class family lives. Mesfin and his wife Mahlet has struggle with Asnake, a villain character and Mesfin's friend. Due to his wicked actions against the family, Asnake hostiles against, and to eliminate the entire family. Asnake has criminal records of several illegal activities, such as smuggling goods and money laundering, but none of evidence found by police. Mesfin's son Biruk falls in love with Medhanit, despite frustration by her mother, who allied with Asnake. In the middle part, Medhanit's brother killed by Asnake by chokeholding, which Biruk falsefully blamed for his murder by Medhanit's mother.
When evidence become light and sufficiently proofed, Asnake decided to kill Mesfin and Mahlet, but he is shot to death by Mahlet at top story of construction building, which ultimately falls down to stick of wood, impaled his abdomen.[4]

Controversy
While airing the series, national public broadcaster Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation, formerly Ethiopian Television, challenged producers to lift off-air and conclude the series on 22 March 2014. ETV also accused unwillingness to DStv as it proposed to air a translated version of the drama.[5]
