Sault Ste. Marie International Railroad Bridge

The Sault Ste. Marie Railroad Bridge was originally built in 1887. It runs parallel to the Sault Ste. Marie International Bridge. It has nine Camelback spans and carries a single line of track.

The swing bridge portion is shown, retracted to allow the passage of ships in the canal. The other bridge is the highway bridge for vehicle traffic.
