Early life and education
Born in Chelsea and raised in New York City, Morril attended the Browning School on Manhattan's Upper East Side.[1][2][3][4] He is of Ashkenazi-Jewish descent. His father portrayed a drug dealer in an episode of the television show 21 Jump Street.[5] He is related to actor Ansel Elgort, who is the son of Morril's biological uncle.[6] Morril, whose original name was Greenberg, took the last name of his stepfather after his mother remarried when he was seven years old.[7] His mother is painter Marilyn Greenberg.[8]
Career
A former intern on The Colbert Report, Morril appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Friday, April 22, 2016.[9] Since 2014 Morril has made multiple appearances on Conan on TBS. In 2016, Morril was a stand-up comedian act from Season 11 of America's Got Talent but was eliminated in the Judge Cuts. He was formerly the host of People Talking Sports on MSG Network. He has a guest appearance as himself in Todd Phillips' film Joker. His first one-hour special "Positive Influence" was released on Comedy Central in September 2018.[10] His second one-hour special "I Got This" was released on the Comedy Central Stand-Up YouTube page in February 2020.[11]
Personal life
As of 2020, he is in a relationship with comedian Taylor Tomlinson.
