Salmon River Communications
Salmon River Communications was a small radio broadcasting company, which was located in Salmon, Idaho. Salmon is located in the Salmon River Country of central Idaho. The studios and offices were located at 315 Riverfront Drive, in Salmon.
Salmon River Communications was formed in 1959, and was then owned by locals David and Elizabeth Ainsworth. They sold in 1969 to Dale and Renee Smith. James and Cindy Hone purchased it in 2000 and have continued a commitment to the area.
It owned and operated two radio stations in the Lemhi County region – KSRA (960 AM) and KSRA-FM (92.7 FM) – until selling both stations to Bitterroot Communications, Inc. effective January 4, 2019.
