Saleem Ahmed
Saleem Ahmed[1] (born 1 January 1967) is an Indian politician from Bangalore, Karnataka. He represents the Indian National Congress[1]

He was former Director General Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India 2012–2014[2] and was the youngest in the house of elder's and served as Govt Chief Whip of Karnataka Legislative council[3] from 2000 to 2007. Twice he was the Member Legislative council during 1996–2002 and 2002–2008.[4]
In the party he held the position as President, All India National Students' Union of India (NSUI) 1993–1997,[5] General Secretary Indian Youth Congress 1997–1998,[1] President Karnataka State – NSUI 1987–1993,[1] Vice President, Karnataka State – NSUI 1983–1987[1] and Elected Student Union Leader Seshadripuram College, Bangalore 1982–1986.[1]

Saleem Ahmed was a College NSUI Unit President, Block President, Secretary in Bangalore city NSUI, State Vice President Karnataka NSUI,[1] & State President Karnataka NSUI[1] and was All India NSUI President[1] and General Secretary Indian Youth Congress.[1]
He was Government Chief Whip – Legislative council Karnataka[3] & Director General, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.[2]
