S. P. Kodandapani
Sripati Panditharadhyula Kodandapani was an Indian music director and playback singer in Telugu cinema. In the film Pandanti Kapuram (1972), he voiced the memorable song "Idigo Devudu Chesina Bomma" on the Hindu philosophy of human life.

He introduced the famous playback singer S. P. Balasubramanyam (also his relative, unknown to him during the introduction) to the Indian film world in the movie Sri Sri Sri Maryada Ramanna (1967).
Life
He spent his childhood in Guntur. He used to sing songs and poems and learned to play harmonium. Addepalli Rama Rao gave him chance to sing in a group song in Naa Illu in 1953. He worked as harmonium player with Susarla Dakshinamurthi. He sang as an independent singer in the 1955 film Santanam. He worked under veteran music director K. V. Mahadevan for five years.
He is the music director in the Rekha Murali and Arts of comedian B. Padmanabham. He became music director as an independent charge for the first time in Kanna Koduku (1961), followed by Padandi Munduku (1962), Manchi Rojulochayi, Bangaru Timmaraju, Thotalo Pilla Kotalo Rani, Loguttu Perumallakeruka (1966) and many more. He composed some of the memorable songs One of his most memorable song is from maryada ramanna katha- emi ee vintha mohamu, it is exactly this song which made singer SPB popular. Sri Rama Katha(1969) was probably his best as a music director.He excelled in this mythological film in both the song composition and back ground score. His performance in this movie placed him in a high pedestal, alongside S Rajeswara Rao, Pendyala, Ghantasala,etc.
