Ruellia nudiflora
Ruellia nudiflora, the violet wild petunia,[1] is a perennial plant in the acanthus family (Acanthaceae) found in areas of moisture in the Sonoran Desert.[2]:74 Despite its name, it is not a true petunia.[2]:74
