Rudy Pankow

Rudy Pankow (born August 12, 1998)[1] is an American actor. He is known for his role as J.J. Maybank on the Netflix[2] teen drama series Outer Banks.[3]

Early life

Rudy Pankow was born and raised in Ketchikan, Alaska.[4] He attended a local school where he played soccer and participated in track events. Pankow originally considered going to culinary school, but chose to become an actor and joined a 2016–17 batch in an acting institute.

After that, Pankow enrolled at Michael Woolson Studios to better his acting skills. After completion of the acting course, he started playing theatre to gain more experience.[1] During his time in theatre, he played roles in The Nutcracker, Mary Poppins and Oliver Twist.

Career in film and television

Pankow is best known for his role as J.J. Maybank on Outer Banks.[5][6] Other shows he has performed on are The Politician, Deviant, and Space Waves.
