Robert Welch (Wisconsin politician)
Robert Welch (born June 8, 1958) is an American Republican politician from Wisconsin.
Born in Berlin, Wisconsin, Welch graduated from Ripon College and went to Madison Area Technical College, where he was trained to be a surveyor. He served in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1985 to 1993. He was elected to the Wisconsin State Senate in 1995 and served until 2005, when he lost a Republican primary election for a different election in 2004.[1][2]
