Reuben Ayarna
Reuben Ayarna (born 22 October 1985 in Accra)[1] is a Ghanaian footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder.

Career
Ayarna began his career with the Desisderoes Babies in Ghana and in 2001 was selected to play for the Liberty Babies.[2] In February 2001 he began attending the Presbyterian Secondary School where he also played soccer.[3] Upon finishing three years of study with Presbyterian Secondary School he earned a full scholarship to attend Boston College and play on their Division I soccer team. While playing for Boston College Ayarna helped the team to finish first in their conference as well as win the 2007 Atlantic Coast Conference Soccer Championship.[4] After playing for both Boston College and Boston Olympiacos, Ayarna decided to forgo finishing his college education in business to play professional soccer in Europe.
In July 2008 Ayarna signed a 4,5-year deal with GAIS and has begun a successful professional career as a fan favorite.[5] In August 2014, after playing a season for BK Häcken, Ayarna signed again with GAIS.
On 30 October 2017, Ayarna signed a one-year contract with Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho, with the option of an additional year.[6]
In October 2019 he announced his resignation from international football for Ghana due to his age.[7]
