Raipur–Visakhapatnam Expressway

Raipur–Visakhapatnam Expressway is a 464-kilometre (288 mi) planned and upcoming green field access controlled six lane expressway in Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh, India. The expressway will be part of Bharatmala Pariyojana and will pass from Raipur through Kurud, Dhamtari, Kanker, Kondagaon, Koraput, Tumbiguda, Sabbavaram before terminating at Visakhapatnam Port.

Status updates

  • Feb 2020: The expressway was added to Bharatmala Pariyojana and approved.[1]
  • Aug 2020: The target date for completion of expressway is set as March 2024.[2]
