Río Verde (Jalisco)
Río Verde (Spanish for "green river") is a river in Jalisco, Mexico. It is a tributary of the Rio Grande de Santiago.

The El Purgatorio reservoir will supply drinking water to the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area.[1] The dam, scheduled for completion by the end of 2018, is located on the Rio Verde near its confluence with the Rio Grande de Santiago.[2]
