Qiu Zhanxuan

Qiu Zhanxuan (Chinese: 邱占萱; pinyin: Qiū Zhànxuān) is a Chinese student activist and Marxist. Qiu was president of the Peking University Marxist Society, a Marxist study group, until 28 December 2018.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

Abduction

On 26 December 2018, Qiu was detained by police while on his way to a celebration of Mao Zedong's birthday.[7]
