Public Health Act 1866
The Public Health Act 1866 was an Act of Parliament in the United Kingdom. The Act allowed the formation of drainage districts and enabled the provision of better house drainage. The second part of the Act dealt with nuisances and stated that it was the duty of councils to locate nuisances and remove them.[1]
