Pradeep Kumar (producer)

Pradeep Kumar is an Indian Television Serial Producer.[1] He made his debut with TV Serial Kagaar as production manager.

Career

Pradeep Kumar was born and raised in ‘’West Champaran’’, ‘’Bihar’’, India. In the family of Gaya prasad, his grandfather. His Father's name is Prem kishore prasad and his mother's name is Phulbadan devi. He completed his early education in his village 'Jhakhra,Gopalpur'and done his higher education in Bettiah. Then he moved from Bihar to Mumbai and work as a door seller and as a waiter in hotel for some years. He got his break as a production manager with Kagaar. In 2001, he came up with his first Bollywood film ‘’Kitne Door Kitne Paas’’ starring ‘’Fardeen Khan’’ and ‘’Amrita Arora’’.

In the year 2004 he started as an independent prod head with Shakuntalam tele films and did shows like Reth, Bani Mai Teri dulhaan, Naa Aana Iss Desh Laado, Sapne Suhane ke, Shastri sisters and left the company in 2014 and started his own company Paperback Films with Ravindra Gautam and produce a show for star plus Meri Durga and one web series for Voot with Ajay Rai (jar pictures). The pre-production work on Meri Durga commenced in October 2015 (shot pilot episode in 2016 March) got a go-ahead in June 2016 and show was aired on 26 January 2017.

Post Meri Durga in the year 2018 he started his own company Shaika films with his actress wife Shaika parween and they collaborated their first film project Bamfaad with Ajay Rai (Jar Pictures) which is streaming now on Zee5. And in the same year (2018) they collaborated with Rajesh Ram sigh (Cockcrow pictures) and started the work under the joint banner "Cockcrow & Shaika Entertainment" and produced a show "Jaat Naa Puchho prem ki" for &tv and Choti Sarrdaarni for Colors tv  which is still running. They also produced a Marathi web series "kaale dhande" for ZEE5. He also worked on Banoo Main Teri Dulhan, Na Aana Is Des Laado and Shastri Sisters.[2]
