Pink Hanamori

Pink Hanamori (花森 ぴんく, Hanamori Pinku, born November 5, 1977 in Shizuoka, Japan) is a Japanese manga artist known for illustrating the manga Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch which was written by Michiko Yokote. Michiyo Kikuta (Mamotte! Lollipop) once worked under Hanamori as an assistant. Hanamori is a fan of Shōnen manga, and works for Nakayoshi. She cited Yoshihiro Togashi's Yu Yu Hakusho as her biggest influence, alongside artwork by Megumi Tachikawa.[1]

In the April 2008 issue of Nakayoshi it was announced Pink Hanamori would be working with Natsuko Takahashi to do the current remake of Osamu Tezuka's Princess Knight, under the name "Sapphire: Princess Knight". The manga will be introduced in the May issue of Nakayoshi.
