Piet Roomer
Pieter Paulus "Piet" Roomer (6 April 1920 Rotterdam, Netherlands - 28 February 2000) was a Dutch international football referee.[1]
Career
He officiated 17 international matches and was FIFA referee in 1956–1967. He attributed two matches in 1966 World Cup qualifying, four matches in 1964, 1968 European Championship qualifying two each one[2] and others were in friendly matches includes a match in British Championship in 1967 and a match in Central European International Cup in 1959.
In club football he officiated some UEFA competition matches such as Champions League (4), Cup Winners Cup 9) and UEFA Cup (8).[3] He was referee in two Fairs Cup matches in 1965-1966. He attributed 248 Eredivisie match around 1956-1968.
