The wingspan is 11–12 mm. The forewings are white, irregularly and suffusedly irrorated (sprinkled) with fuscous, with scattered dark fuscous scales and black subcostal and subdorsal dashes from the base, as well as a black streak along the fold from the base to near the extremity, and one from the middle of the disc to the apex. The discal stigmata sometimes form linear marks separate from this. The hindwings are grey whitish, sometimes speckled with light grey.[2]
