Phenacosaurus vanzolinii
Phenacosaurus vanzolinii is a species of lizard in the family Dactyloidae (anoles). The species is endemic to Ecuador.

Etymology
The specific name, vanzolinii, is in honor of Brazilian herpetologist (and samba composer) Paulo Vanzolini.[3]
Geographic range
P. vanzolinii is found in Sucumbíos Province, Ecuador.[2]
Habitat
The preferred natural habitat of P. vanzolinii is forest, at altitudes of 1,950–2,630 m (6,400–8,630 ft).[1]
