Petpanomrung was contracted in August 2016 to fight for Glory promotion.[5] He is the reigning Glory Featherweight Champion.

Martial arts career

He was scheduled to take part in the 2017 Glory Featherweight Contender Tournament.[6] In the semifinals he won a unanimous decision against Aleksei Ulianov. He won the tournament with a split decision win over Serhiy Adamchuk.

Winning the Contender Tournament earned Petpanomrung a chance to fight for the Glory Featherweight title against Robin van Roosmalen.[7] van Roosmalen managed to win a majority decision to clinch the title.[8]

After losing his next fight to Rambo PetchPTT at the Lumpini Stadium, Petchpanomrung returned to Glory to fight Xie Lei.[9] He won the fight by unanimous decision.[10]

He fought again during Glory 49, two months later, when he faced Zakaria Zouggary.[11] Petchpanomrung won the fight by a head kick KO.[12]

After a second round KO of Abdellah Ezbiri,[13] Petchpanomrung was given a chance to fight Robin van Roosmalen for the Glory Featherwegiht title. Roosmalen would later withdraw with an injury,[14] so Petchpanomrung fought for the Interim Featherweight title against Kevin VanNostrand instead. Petchpanomrung won the fight by split decision.[15]

Petchpanomrung was scheduled to fight a rematch Robin van Roosmalen during Glory 59, in a title unification bout. He won the fight by unanimous decision.[16][17]

His first title defense was a rematch with Serhiy Adamchuk during Glory 63.[18] Petchpanomrung won the fight by unanimous decision.[19]

He was scheduled to fight Sergey Kulyaba during All Star Fight in March 2019.[20] Petchpanomrung was later replaced by Fonluang Sitboonmee.[21]

Petchpanomrung's second title defense was against Anvar Boynazarov, a fight which he won by unanimous decision.[22]

He was next supposed to defend against Aleksei Ulianov, but Aleksei was later replaced with Kevin VanNostrand.[23] The rematch between the two ended in a draw.[24][25]

For his fourth title defense, Petchpanomrung was scheduled to fight Serhiy Adamchuk for the third time in his career.[26][27] Petch won the fight by a unanimous decision.[28]

Petchpanomrung was scheduled to fight Kento Haraguchi at the RISE El Dorado event, in February 2021.[29]
