Olga Arefieva
Olga Arefieva (Arefeva) (born 1966 in Verkhnyaya Salda[1]) is a Russian singer-songwriter, poet and musician.[2] She graduated from Gnessin State Musical College (her teacher was Lev Leshchenko), founded band "Kovcheg" (The Ark), composed more than 400 songs, issued 15 music albums, and won the literary prize of the magazine Znamya for her poems.

Her poetry was described by literary critics as a combination of realism and mysticism, possibly inspired by the absurdism of Daniil Kharms or the magic realism of Gabriel Márquez.[3]
She is a member of the Union of Russian Writers. In 2004, she began to supplement her concerts with the theater performance group "Kalimba". In 2008 she published a science fiction book, Death and Adventures of Efrosinya the Beauty, which won a literary award.
