Sale
In 2012 the city of North Kansas City briefly searched for a buyer of the hospital, the hospital board sued to stop the sale stating the city didn't have the authority to sell the hospital. The matter was resolved in 2013 with the passing legislation (HB163) and the lawsuit was dropped.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
