Nico Cox
Brittany Nicole "Nico" Cox is an antiquarian horologist based in Seattle, Washington. As of 2018 she was one of the only such individuals within the United States. Cox earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Texas, San Antonio in philosophy and then trained as a jeweler and became a certified watchmaker via the Watch Technology Institute at North Seattle College. She then continued her education at West Dean College in the UK, specializing in clock restoration and conservation, an area that is not taught in American schools.[1][2] She specializes in the area of conservation and restoration of antique automata, mechanical music objects, complicated clocks and watches, and mechanical magic.[3][4]
