Nick Woodhouse

The Honourable Nicholas Michael John Woodhouse CBE (born 27 February 1949) is a British mathematician.

Woodhouse is the younger son and second child of Montague Woodhouse, 5th Baron Terrington, and Lady Davina Bulwer-Lytton.

Woodhouse completed his undergraduate degree at Oxford.[1]

He is currently Professor of Mathematics at Wadham College, University of Oxford.[2]

He was treasurer of the London Mathematical Society until 2009[1] and was president of Clay Mathematics Institute.[2]

He has frequently collaborated with David J. Simms.

Woodhouse was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2020 New Year Honours for services to mathematics.[3]
