Nawazish Ali Khan
Nawazish Ali Khan (নওয়াজীশ আলী খান) is a Bangladesh Television director and producer.[1] His notable productions are Bohubrihi [বহুব্রীহি ১৯৮৮-৮৯], Ayomoy [অয়োময় ১৯৯০-৯১], Jalsha [জলসা ১৯৯৪], Jononi [জননী ১৯৯৩]. He is currently serving as the CEO at Global Television .[1] He won National Award for Best Producer in 1975 and 1976 consecutively for his production of Bornali.[1] (বর্ণালী)

Career
Nawazish Ali Khan started his career in Television media with Karachi TV on November 29 in 1967.[2] He worked there til 1972. Mr. Khan didn't get the chance to return home even after Bangladesh earned its independence in 1971. Then, escaping from Pakistan in October in 1972, he returned to his motherland passing through Afghanistan and India. He joined Bangladesh Television in the position of a producer. Eventually, he started his job with a musical programme there. After that, he produced a programme titled ‘Ratna Dwip’ (রত্নদ্বীপ). After completing 28 years of successful tenure, he retired from BTV as the General Manager in 1999.[3] He joined Ekushey Television in the same year as Head of Program. In 2002 after Ekushey Television went off air, he joined ATN Bangla as the Head of Program and later Advisor (Program). He worked at ATN Bangla for more than 15 years. In 2019 he joined at Global Television as the CEO. This channel is still waiting to be aired.[4]
Nawazish Ali Khan has completed his unhampered 50 years in Television media on 29 November 2017.[5][6][7][8]
Works
Among his notable works are Bornali (বর্ণালী), a subject-oriented hourly musical show, for which he has won the National Award for Best Producer in 1976; Jalsha (জলসা), which featured prominent Bangladeshi bands; and Eid Special Program Anondomela (আনন্দমেলা), which has been hosted by renowned personalities like Annisul Huq, Abed Khan, Dr. Sanjida Akhter, Abdullah Abu Sayeed and Jewel Aich, among others. Nawazish Ali Khan has also produced the first SAF games for BTV, which was planned by Mustafa Monwar.
He collaborated with Humayun Ahmed in multiple projects, including his first television drama Prothom Prohor" (প্রথম প্রহর) in 1983. [9][10] The duo created some memorable TV productions like Janani (জননী), Gach Manush (গাছ মানুষ), Kobi (কবি), Matir Pinjirae Bondi Hoia (মাটির পিঞ্জিরায় বন্দী হইয়া), Himu (হিমু), Ojatra (অযাত্রা), Esho Nipo Bone (এসো নীপবনে), Ouija Board (ওইজা বোর্ড), Nimful (নিমফুল) and many more. His works also include popular television shows Shoptoporna (সপ্তপর্ণা) hosted by Abdullah Abu Sayeed and Jodi Kichu Mone Na Koren (যদি কিছু মনে না করেন) hosted by Fazle Lohani. Nawazish Ali Khan has also won the National Award for Best Producer in 1975 for magazine shows and other programs. His work Jononi (জননী), has been recognized with a merit certificate from the United Nations, while Korean Broadcasting Network has awarded Kaajer Gaan, an episode of Bornali, with a merit certificate.
