Natasha Bertrand

Natasha Bertrand (born May 12, 1992) is an American journalist who is a national security correspondent for Politico.[1] She is also a political analyst for NBC and MSNBC.

Early life and education

Bertrand attended Vassar College where she double-majored in political science and philosophy and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2014.[2]

Bertrand started her career at Business Insider as an intern in 2014 before being appointed as a political correspondent mainly covering US foreign policy and national security.[3] She joined The Atlantic as a staff writer in 2018 and, shortly thereafter, was named a political analyst for NBC News and MSNBC.[4]

Bertrand moved to Politico as a national security correspondent in 2019. She has been among the leading writers covering the US intelligence community and news surrounding the impeachment inquiry against Donald Trump.[5]

Bertrand was listed in Forbes magazine's "30 under 30 class" of 2021.
