Nafees Din

Nafees Ahmed Din (born 6 May 1981) is a former English cricketer. Din is a right-handed batsman who was a leg break bowler. He was born in Manchester. His father is the former Pakistani Olympic wrestler Mohammad Din.

Din made his debut for Cheshire in the 2002 Minor Counties Championship against Devon. From 2002 to 2003, he represented the county in 6 Minor Counties matches, with his final Minor Counties appearance coming against Wales Minor Counties.[1]

Din also spent time playing for the England Academy Team and Minor Counties Cricket Association, in addition to Worcestershire and Lancashire County Clubs.

Din also represented Cheshire in List-A cricket, making his debut in that format of the game for the county against Huntingdonshire in the first round of the 2003 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy which was played in 2002. He represented Cheshire in a further 3 List-A matches, with his final match coming against Hampshire in 2004.[2] In his 7 List-A matches, he scored 118 runs at a batting average of 29.50, with a single half century high score of 75.[3]

Din continues to play cricket in the Cheshire County League, currently representing Brooklands CC. Aside from cricket, Din is the CEO of the ONLYgroup, running four websites within that group; ONLYswim.com, ONLY-cricket.com, ONLYuniform.com and ONLYsportsgear.com
