Mihir Goswami

Mihir Goswami is an Indian Politician from the state of West Bengal. He was a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly (1996-2001) & (2016-2021). He was the Chairman of NBSTC (North Bengal State Transport Corporation).[1][2] He was a member of Trinamool Congress party until 2020, when he joined BJP. He represents the Cooch Behar Dakshin (Vidhan Sabha constituency).

Political career

He was District Youth Congress President in undivided Congress (When Mamata Banerjee State Youth Congress President). He was from the All India Trinamool Congress.[3] On 31 October 2020, he resigned from all posts he held and expressed his dissatisfaction with the influence of poll strategist Prashant Kishore and the Trinamool Congress’ leadership. He resigned from the TMC and joint the Bharatiya Janata Party on 27 November 2020.[4]

He represents the Cooch Behar Dakshin (Vidhan Sabha constituency).[5][6]
