Megacephala lacordairei
Megacephala lacordairei is a species of ground beetle in the subfamily of Carabinae[1] that was described by the French entomologist Hippolyte Louis Gory in 1833.[1] It is found in Colombia, French Guiana, Suriname, and Venezuela.[1] The species are similar to Megacephala affinis.[1] The species are named after Belgian entomologist Jean Théodore Lacordaire.
